This opportunity is exclusively for students who are currently on, or who have previously participated in a Disney College Program.

The approximate dates of this internship is January 2026 through June 2026.

What You Will Do:

We are looking for someone with a passion for Disney Programs, who can speak knowledgeably about program offerings and benefits and utilize their writing, project management and design skills to support communication for and about our Program participants.

As a Communications & Graphic Design Intern, some of your responsibilities could be…

  • Creating communications materials such as blog articles, newsletters, emails and social media content for internal and external audiences.
  • Writing and proofreading copy for a variety of platforms including print, digital and social.
  • Utilizing graphic design skills to create content such as infographics, decks, social content, promotional event graphics and more.
  • Updating and maintaining digital content for Disney Programs internal and external websites using content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Brainstorming and strategizing with the Disney Programs team and key internal and external partners on different communications projects for varying business needs.
  • Maintaining social media editorial calendars and planning and scheduling posts using social media scheduling tools.
  • Attending program and housing events, trips and offerings to capture content and highlight the full program experience.
  • Helping with pre-production planning and scheduling for video and photoshoots as needed.
  • Assisting in updating and maintaining digital asset libraries to ensure easy access to the most up-to-date resources.
  • Supporting program events, including arrivals, learning offerings and end-of-program capstone events.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current OR previous participation in the Disney College Program
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, public relations, social media, journalism or related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using AP writing style.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • A team player who is able to build relationships, works well with others, shares ideas, and is receptive to feedback.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for the cast member/employee experience and a drive to help support and contribute to creating a positive, meaningful program for our participants.

Required Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in communications, marketing, graphic design, public relations, social media, journalism or related field preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program​ in the Orlando, FL area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work​
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.50 per hour.
