Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment process, aiming to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the organization. This role involves developing and executing effective recruiting strategies aligned with business strategies, building robust relationships with hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and monitoring external market trends. The Talent Acquisition Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HRBPs, and other HR teams to ensure the availability of the right talent at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a talent advisor and strategic partner, establish recruitment strategies for client groups and effectively manage the end-to-end recruitment process to hire the best-in-class and most suitable individuals, aligning with both long-term and short-term business strategies of the Walt Disney Company.

  • Foster strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide effective coaching on recruitment and selection processes.

  • Utilize innovative sourcing channels, including social media, resume mining, diversity resources, and networking, to attract hard-to-find passive talent.

  • Conduct in-depth screenings and assess potential candidates for their level of interest, qualifications, and compensation requirements.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, promoting the competitive brand advantage and employment value proposition of the company.

  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to monitor and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process and practices.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies, sharing this knowledge with relevant teams and senior leadership.

  • Challenge the status quo and identify improvement opportunities within the hiring process and practices.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience, including 4+ years in full-cycle, in-house recruitment within the Media/Entertainment and/or Consumer Products industries. Search firm experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.

  • Experience in direct sourcing and managing external agencies.

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.

  • Ability to exemplify Disney values and effectively communicate them to candidates.

  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and acting with integrity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-driven, eager to learn, open, and collaborative.

  • Strong execution ability and a drive for results.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

  • Experience in a matrix organization is a plus.

  • Native-like proficiency in Korean and business fluency in English is a must.
