The Product Security Team at The Walt Disney Company is dedicated to safeguarding the digital assets and intellectual property of one of the world's most beloved entertainment companies. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of Disney's diverse range of products and services, which span across theme parks, resorts, cruise lines, sports, news, movies, and various other businesses.
We are a dynamic and collaborative team that partners with engineering teams across the enterprise. Our mission is to mitigate technical risk by identifying vulnerabilities in Disney products, providing education to engineering teams on remediation techniques, and collaborating with other security teams to ensure the protection of our guests.
Our team is responsible for conducting security assessments, managing customer interactions, and developing security solutions that align with Disney's business strategies. We leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches to enhance consumer experiences, enable business growth, and advance operational excellence.
Responsibilities of Role:
Lead intake, onboarding, and coordination for our most critical systems, focusing on our high-impact, flagship DEEPT applications.
Oversee JIRA operations and intake consolidation to ensure a seamless customer experience, especially as teams merge.
Develop executive leadership dashboards to drive strategic, data-driven decision-making.
Sustain core DEEPT operational work to maintain high standards and efficiency.
Act as the Enterprise Product Security liaison between DEEPT ISO with the role's scope expanding to other segments in the future.
Drive Information Security programs and technical projects through the full life cycle from scoping, customer kick-off coordination, timelines, task management, communication and status reporting.
Partner with team, stakeholders, and leaders to ensure efficient, accurate, and efficient processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking and maintenance of pending and open work items in Jira projects.
Perform analysis of data sets to identify areas of gaps in accuracy or misalignment of product security processes.
Support PMO with changing priorities and field ad hoc requests for department support, architecture consultation and guidance
Lead elicitation of team requirements that support team processes and projects, including creation of functional requirements, data mappings and user stories to enable process modification or development
Must Haves:
5+ years of product management experience, including portfolio management resulting in increased scope and responsibility
Understanding of application or infrastructure SDLC and secure development practices
Strong Agile scrum master/Agile PM experience
Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
Process Optimization experience resulting in streamlined and efficient processes across programs and teams
Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative
Demonstrated ability to identify, understand and drive resolution of complex critical issues
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience with JIRA & Confluence or similar tools
Data extraction and manipulation using excel or similar tools
Nice To Haves:
Analytics experience with managing large data sets via excel, smartsheet, or data tables
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $152,000 to $$204,100 per year and New York is $159,500 to $213,900 per year and in Seattle is $159,500 to $213,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
