Department/Group Overview:

Supporting the Disney Advertising Sales organization within Entertainment and Sports, the Sr. Program Analyst in Data & Measurement Science team are subject matter experts in each of the following areas:

  • Perform quantitative analysis on the effectiveness of current business operations and products, offer a point of view regarding gaps and potential opportunities
  • Design metrics to uniformly and quickly assess the health across all Data & Measurement Sciences data and tech partnerships
  • Analyze and interpret complex business needs into quantifiable metrics for decisions makers to action on. 
  • Scope out service/data provider’s technical capabilities and specs, against business needs.
  • Translate quantitative and technical data requirements into contractual terms.
  • Work with internal stake holders to design vendor evaluations (Proof of Concepts, data evaluations, match tests). 
  • Build an industry-wide view of competitive services that address current and future business needs, and communicate actionable results to decision makers. 
  • Work as a liaison between the Data & Measurement Science team, Disney Finance, and vendors.
  • Provide Program Management support over day-to-day operations, including budgets and invoicing, and prepare for upcoming changes.
  • Be the central internal touch point from Disney Finance and Accounting, to provide context and projections on Fiscal Year budget.

Job Summary:

Data & Measurement Sr. Program Analyst in the Data & Measurement Science team will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the Disney Ad Sales business. The manager role will work across internal Data Science, Tech, Finance and external vendors to maintain and enhance existing relationships, and scope out new partnerships. As such, the Data & Measurement Sr. Program Analyst will need to be familiar with technical business operations (both internal and external) and design/maintain quantitative operations model to keep track of partnership health and success. Through a keen understanding of data/tech stacks and strong analytical skills, he/she/they will bring a unique perspective on 1) how to further enhance legacy partnerships, 2) identifying new service providers that will fuel business growth, and 3) necessary evaluation methods for new potential partners. This role will be a representative of the team when working with external partners, as well as a liaison among the business, Disney Finance, and vendor. 

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Perform quantitative analysis on the effectiveness of current business operations and products, offer a point of view regarding gaps and potential opportunities

  • Design metrics to uniformly and quickly assess the health across all Data & Measurement Sciences data and tech partnerships
  • Build an industry-wide view of competitive services that address current and future business needs, and communicate actionable results to decision makers. 
  • Scope out service/data provider’s technical capabilities and specs, against business needs.
  • Translate quantitative and technical data requirements into contractual terms.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in media/entertainment/advertising industry working with external vendor partners (Software as a Service, Professional Services, Data Partnerships)
  • Great attention to detail and ability to stay organized on multiple concurrent work streams.
  • Technical understanding of cloud data storage, data science, audience segmentation, and digital identity graphs.
  • Experience negotiating, onboarding and off boarding external vendor partners.
  • Familiarity with consumer data and advertising industry landscape.
  • Knowledge or exposure in advertising technology.
  • Experience managing team/company budget, or general understanding of financial operations.
  • Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity (big-picture perspective, asks "why") and a hands-on/execution capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious).
  • Ability to confidently aggregate and translate viewpoints into compelling and actionable recommendations.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

The hiring range for this position is $99,900 - $133,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
