Disney Consumer Products (part of Disney Experiences) brings the world’s most iconic stories and characters, from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and 20th Century Studios, into contemporary culture through bold, innovative products and fashion‑led collaborations. Across EMEA, we work at the intersection of storytelling, style and commerce, partnering with trend‑setting retailers and licensees to create products fans genuinely want to wear, share and celebrate.
We’re looking for a fashion‑driven, curious, and forward-thinking Licensing Sales Manager to help shape the future of our Softlines business across EMEA. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes fashion who tracks street style, influencer movements and emerging trends, and knows how to translate cultural insight into commercial opportunity. If you’re excited by the idea of turning fandom into fashion and ideas into impact, you’ll feel right at home.
In this role, you’ll lead apparel licensing strategies and build forward‑thinking Fashion Partnerships with key EMEA retailers and licensees, driving revenue, margin and brand relevance. Deeply connected to High Street and Fast Fashion, you’ll spot what’s next from social‑first trends to evolving consumer behaviour and turn those insights into compelling joint business plans, omnichannel and ecommerce initiatives, and retail marketing moments that cut through and convert.
This hybrid role is 4 days in the office + 1 day working from home, based in London, Antwerp or Munich. Fluent German and English is essential.
What You’ll Do
Lead fashion‑first partnerships across EMEA. You’ll own key account management for our Softlines business, driving commercial performance through smart forecasting, P&L ownership and confident contract negotiation while partnering closely with Creative, Merchandising/Buying and Product Development to bring standout collections to life.
Shape the future of Disney fashion. You’ll define and deliver long‑term and annual category strategies for apparel, translating brand storytelling and cultural insight into scalable, growth‑driving plans across EMEA.
Spot what’s next and move fast. From street style and influencer movements to social commerce and consumer data, you’ll connect trend signals with commercial insight to identify opportunities, activate partners and “win the moment” in an ever‑changing fashion landscape.
Own and grow key EMEA accounts. You’ll lead senior‑level relationships, joint business planning and quarterly forecasting, setting clear objectives with licensees to drive revenue, margin and brand impact.
Negotiate and influence with confidence. You’ll manage regional contract negotiations and ensure alignment across global, EMEA and local stakeholders, balancing creativity with commercial rigour.
Bring products to market with impact. Partnering with Creative and Marketing (and Global Interactive Experiences where relevant), you’ll shape product development and go‑to‑market strategies that resonate across digital, social, ecommerce and retail environments.
Champion responsible production. You’ll play a key role in coordinating the International Labour Standards (ILS) process, working closely with suppliers and TWDC ILS teams to ensure compliance and integrity across the supply chain.
Unlock new business opportunities. You’ll build compelling pitches, commission insight‑led research and validate scalable growth opportunities that push our fashion portfolio forward.
Collaborate across cultures and markets. Sharing best practice across EMEA, you’ll contribute to market forums and translate local consumer insight into cross‑functional strategies that reflect regional nuance while strengthening the overall category.
What you’ll bring
Fashion background in buying, merchandising, product development or commercial fashion sales (Softlines).
Strong commercial experience with proven P&L ownership, forecasting and planning.
Financial acumen; comfortable turning numbers into actionable plans.
Data‑driven decision‑making: Analyse performance, construct practical conclusions, and implement recommendations.
Resilience and agility in a fast‑moving landscape; able to prioritise and pivot.
Relationship builder and influencer at all levels internal teams, licensees and retailers.
A sharp eye for digital, social and brick‑and‑mortar marketing in fashion/apparel.
Excellent planning and organisation skills; forward‑thinking and innovation‑minded.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local market differences across EMEA.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote.
Language & location
Fluent German and English is essential.
Role can be based in London, Antwerp, or Munich; occasional travel across EMEA may be required.
