Our Disney+ Partnerships team is responsible for new business development and successful management of external partnerships in alignment with Disney Direct to Consumer business objectives of subscriber growth and retention, revenue maximization and brand health.
The role will be part of the Partnerships and Business Development team overseeing select account relationships and day-to-day management and execution of Disney+ partnerships. This includes helping preparing for new business meetings and the delivery of partner contracts, terms, delivery of go to market plans including leading with cross line of business teams marketing campaigns, consumer journeys, management of timelines and deliverables, partner reporting and optimization.
The Manager needs to be across all aspects of the partnership agreement, including understanding the contract in detail, so they can lead contract fulfilment and drive partnership objectives.
A key aspect for the role is to maintain positive relationships between our partners and work collaboratively cross business to deliver best in class Disney+ partner programs and promote effective ways of working.
Key to this role will be delivering the go-to-market processes with business development long term partners; leading campaign execution and timeline(s) in coordination with partner delivery teams and cross lines of business locally and globally. They will oversee the relationship for the account, brief & oversee marketing campaign deliverables & approvals, consumer journey development and deliver best in class executions in line with partner contracts and global best practice
Day to day the role will work with partners and internally to:
- Support where required on Business Development meetings, in preparing for the meetings
- Support the liaison between partners and internal teams to effectively build partnership relationships, deliver on marketing objectives, develop plans and campaign executions
- Be the day-to-day lead for select partner accounts including campaign execution, contract fulfilment, ongoing maintenance, reporting and communications
- Building and nurturing the external and internal relationships that underpin strategic, collaborative, long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance consumer value and brand perceptions
- Collaborating with colleagues across business functions and verticals to align plans and activities with broader Company strategy, financial plans, local laws and Company policies, and standards of innovation and creative excellence
- Work closely with partners to ensure strong performance from partner sales channels, including holding regular business review meetings with partners
- Negotiate commercial terms with existing local partners and secure new deals
- Implementing clearly documented and defined Timelines, Guidelines, IP usage and ways of working
- Briefing internal stakeholders, including creative, finance, legal, comms and overseeing the delivery with internal stakeholders
- Lead the critical timelines across all major work streams by tracking and documenting partnership activities to ensure both timely delivery and future recommendations
- Optimization of partnership campaigns
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders including Brand, Legal, Product, Creative teams
- Support timely ad hoc requests from both internal and external partners
- Apply any relevant learnings from the international teams for partner execution
- Ensure delivery teams are launch ready for all new partnerships and campaigns
- Clear, accurate, timely reporting
- Must be a strong communicator and presenter, effectively communicating Disney+ brand and partnership guidelines as well as critical time paths and legal needs
- Technical support of product execution as required
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in account management experience in activating marketing campaigns to meet the key requirements of this role.
