The Team
Disney+ is one of the leading premium video streaming services in the world. It is the dedicated home for streaming movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. Our Disney+ North Asia team is responsible for the launch and day to day operation of the service across Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan specifically focused on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships, content programming, research, and analytics.
The Performance & Lifecycle Marketing team in Japan is tasked with driving Disney+ subscriber growth, engagement, and retention for the market, in close partnership with the Disney Streaming Services global teams. They are positioned at the heart of decision making for The Walt Disney Company, driving the best audience/subscriber experience and commercial outcome for the Direct-to-Consumer business. The team also works in close alignment with other local teams and lines of business including Studios, Franchise, Live Entertainment, Parks and Consumer Products to align Disney+ acquisition andlifecycle marketing plans with cross company priorities.
Job Summary:
- The Coordinator, Performance Marketing will report to the Manager, Performance Marketing and will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of performance marketing initiatives for the Japan market. You will be supporting the execution of initiatives across various performance marketing channels (paid/owned).

Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Responsible for managing local creative development, across static, video, and copy creative.
- Manage and update the Performance Marketing campaign calendar.
- Ensure positive and effective working relationships with all local and global team members, accepting individual responsibility for assigned deliverables and upholding high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Reporting:
- Assist in preparation of reports and presentations, as required and directed.
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager in monitoring campaign performance across programmatic channels and provide input on campaign optimizations & new opportunities.
- Use data and reports to guide evidence-based decisions, supported by best-practice and latest technology.
- Team Collaboration:
- Provide support to the Performance Marketing team; follow up on meeting minutes as well as produce and deliver creative briefs and marketing assets.
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional local team, including Studios, Lifecycle Marketing, Content, Partnerships, Legal and Creative, while liaising and aligning with global teams, to provide effective coordination and logistics around creative requests.
- Be a champion of best-in-class brand aligned campaign creative, keeping an eye on creative trends & competitor activity.

Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in related marketing roles
- Native level fluency in Japanese and business level English
- Knowledge of various digital media and programmatic platforms
- Outcome-focused, and confident in making decisions without necessarily having all the information.
- Teamwork and Time-Management: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, working at pace, with multiple stakeholders (local and international), managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
