About the Role & Team

At The Walt Disney Company, our stories connect with audiences around the world. Behind every successful release is a deep understanding of audience behaviour, cultural trends and evolving conversations. The Studios Intelligence team provides the audience, market and commercial insight that helps shape strategic decision-making across Disney's Studios business throughout EMEA.

We are currently looking for two Social Insights Analysts to join the Studios Intelligence team. In these roles, you will play a key part in helping Disney understand how audiences engage with our films, franchises and campaigns online. Combining social listening, audience analysis and cultural intelligence, you will uncover meaningful insights that inform marketing strategy, campaign optimisation, commercial decision-making and long-term planning.

Working across a wide range of Studios releases and the broader entertainment landscape, you'll transform complex social and cultural signals into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the business. You'll partner with colleagues across Studios Intelligence, Global Studios teams, external partners and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure audience perspectives remain at the heart of decision-making.

If selected for one of these roles, you will report to the Manager, Social Listening & Research.

These roles will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

You'll join a team grounded in our Disney values: acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration, and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

As a Social Insights Analyst, you will help translate online conversations and audience behaviour into insight that drives action across Disney's Studios business. Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing social listening, owned social, video and platform data to understand audience conversation, sentiment, engagement, content performance and emerging trends.
  • Configuring, testing and refining social listening queries to ensure accurate and reliable data capture across campaigns, titles and markets.
  • Monitoring online communities, competitor activity, platform developments and cultural conversations to identify opportunities, risks and relevant audience trends.
  • Delivering insight across recurring social intelligence programmes as well as responding to fast-paced ad hoc stakeholder requests.
  • Translating complex data and social signals into clear, compelling insight presentations, reports and executive summaries.
  • Identifying implications for campaign strategy, audience targeting, creative development and content positioning.
  • Evaluating campaign performance and audience response to marketing activity, content and creative assets.
  • Contributing social and cultural insight to broader audience, market and commercial analysis across the Studios Intelligence team.
  • Producing accurate, high-quality reporting, dashboards and analysis for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and validating datasets, dashboards and measurement frameworks to ensure reliable reporting across EMEA markets.
  • Collaborating with internal partners, global teams and external vendors to support business priorities.
  • Helping evolve social listening methodologies, reporting practices, data visualisation approaches and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Staying informed about developments across social platforms, emerging tools and industry best practice.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience analysing social, digital or audience data to understand online behaviour, audience conversation and content performance.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Ability to translate data and analysis into clear, engaging and impactful recommendations for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
  • Curiosity about entertainment, digital culture, audience behaviour and emerging trends.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for learning, innovation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using social listening platforms and social intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with Boolean query building.
  • Experience creating dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Knowledge of measurement frameworks and digital performance reporting.
  • Interest in AI-assisted analytical approaches and emerging technologies.
