About the Role & Team

We are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join our team that’s based in Hammersmith!

Please note this is 7-month fixed-term contract with an anticipated start date of Mid-September 2026.

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, the successful postholder will lead corporate PR campaigns that build and protect Disney’s reputation and drive both owned and earned coverage from flagship brand moments like the holiday spot and Week of Wishes. This role also involves day-to-day media relations, issues management and integrated campaigns that connect with fans across EMEA.

We are a team that’s passionate about what we do. We approach our work with a positive, proactive mindset with a creative approach to problem solving, no matter the task. We support each other to do the same. We’re respectful of each other and are individually committed to fostering a team that is trusting, transparent and inclusive. We are committed to excellence at all levels and are always looking to improve.

Please note: This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.

Values

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

Campaigns and media relations

  • Shape Disney’s brand storytelling through earned media and digital channels ensuring alignment with marketing priorities including Christmas

  • Develop and lead corporate PR campaigns for major brand activations such as Disney’s annual holiday advert and CSR initiatives such as Week of Wishes.

  • Deliver high-profile comms campaigns across the UK and wider EMEA markets, supporting localisation while maintaining brand consistency. This includes agency management.

  • Own relationships with key consumer, business and trade media across UK

  • Partner with teams including marketing, CSR, Disney+, studios and consumer products

Crisis and issues management

  • Act as deputy to Corporate Communications Director on crisis communications, developing messaging and media management plans in response to issues that Disney may face.

  • Executive and stakeholder support

  • Work closely with executive team to deliver a stakeholder engagement plan, including organising events uniquely Disney.

  • Lead speaker engagements for UK and EMEA leadership, overseeing messaging, speechwriting, and audiovisual materials.

Budget and reporting

  • Define KPIs, assess campaign effectiveness, and apply insights to future campaigns.

  • Ensure efficient budget management, overseeing trackers and securing resources to support PR initiatives.

  • Host quarterly comms summits to share best practices and align efforts across EMEA markets.

Potential travel required as business dependencies dictate

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • You love entertainment and bring a clear understanding of what’s needed to secure brilliant outcomes for a campaign that cuts through in the corporate sphere

  • Proven experience in consumer and corporate communications, ideally at Senior Account Director level or above (if agency).

  • Exceptional writing across formats: press releases, speeches, messaging, and strategy documents – you understand the difference in styles and what can cut through best

  • You’ll be adept at providing strategic comms advice - outlining internally what works in earned media - both consumer and corporate

  • A track record leading earned media campaigns end to end with results you can point to. You are skilled at shaping a story so it earns coverage not just pitches it.

  • A strategic comms mindset that looks at the bigger picture for a campaign and think about how to get the best outcomes. You challenge the norm, and think of new ways to cut through.

  • Strong organisation and project management abilities, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience owning a crisis, big or small, from reactive planning through live media handling while managing senior stakeholders

  • Leadership skills - ability to mentor junior team members and manage agency partnerships effectively.

  • A background in in-house comms for a streaming service or media company would be preferred but not essential
