Hong Kong Disneyland is looking to hire a high caliber Technical Coordinator, Safety Compliance to Entertainment production team by coordinating and managing technical and safety-related documentation. This role ensures documentation accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with Disney standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in supporting daily operations, seasonal programs, and ad-hoc Entertainment offerings.
Coordinate the preparation, collection, and tracking of key technical documents including but not limited to Scope of Work, Job Plans, Acceptance Test Plans, Operating Guides, Training Records, Maintenance Procedures, and Safety Documents.
Track document workflows and ensure timely submission and approvals to meet critical production and compliance milestones.
Work closely with Production, Safety, Engineering, and Creative teams to ensure alignment on documentation and delivery schedules.
Ensure all technical documentation meets Disney, Engineering, and Operations standards.
Maintain an organized digital and physical documentation system.
Provide administrative and coordination support during technical reviews, rehearsals, safety walk-throughs, and handovers.
Job Requirements:
Diploma holder or above in related discipline
3–5 years of experience in an entertainment technical environment. Experience in AV and lighting, pyrotechnics, rigging, scenic and structural construction, show control, technical drawings, and engineering is an advantage but not required.
Proficiency in computer skills (e.g. Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint, PDF, AutoCAD/ SketchUp etc.)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Highly motivated requiring minimal direction and follow up
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, occasional travel to vendor’s site is needed.
Possess experience on licensing and statutory submission, and/or Design Assurance process would be a plus.
Fluent in English and Chinese
