About the Role & Program
As part of the Walt Disney World Hotels & Resorts Line of Business team, you'll join a group that partners across the organization to enhance the Guest experience at our resorts. The Development & Insights team focuses on shaping the future of our hotel offerings by using Guest feedback, operational data, and industry trends. Interns on this team have the opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, learn from subject matter experts, and gain hands-on experience in how insights drive innovation and decision-making across our hotel portfolio.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, gain exposure to strategic thinking, and learn how data and insights shape the future of Disney’s hotel experiences.
This internship is a full-time, 6-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 through June 2026.
What You Will Do
As an intern on the Hotels & Resorts Line of Business Development Team, you’ll be part of a collaborative group that supports strategic initiatives to enhance the Guest experience. During your internship, you may:
Explore and evaluate new business ideas and concepts, helping senior leaders make informed decisions.
Conduct business assessments using internal data, industry research, and Guest insights, blending both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Stay up to date on hotel trends by reviewing industry publications and sharing key findings with the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work independently through self-motivation and resourcefulness.
A highly organized nature and fastidious attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written skills with an emphasis on business writing.
Strategic problem solving & analytical skills with the capability to act tactically.
Expertise in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
Education
Senior year preferred.
Major or previous coursework in Hospitality, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Research or related major is preferred.
Required Materials
Candidates must submit a one-page writing sample on a current trend in hospitality as part of their application.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
This internship is a full-time, 6-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 through June 2026.
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area.
Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work with a personal vehicle.
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.50 per hour.
