About the Role:
Here is your chance to work with the team that makes each day special for our amazing Cast Members! As a Graphic Design Intern with the Cast Activities, Recognition, and Experience team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with project partners and clients to design, develop, and maintain branding for internal recognition within Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Our projects celebrate Cast Members through unique experiences and events, including Magic Backstage, Goofy’s Mystery Tour, Minnie’s Moonlit Madness, and more!
Your work will include creating and maintaining print and digital collateral, including visual branding, illustrations, marketing banners, business presentations, posters, directional signage, event graphics, and other materials. Additionally, you will support event coverage by capturing photos and videos for use in recap videos, marketing materials, and internal storytelling.
The intern will report to the Graphic Design Manager.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from June 2026 through January 2027.
What You Will Do:
Every day is different, but the responsibilities you can expect to fulfill are:
- Design a variety of assets, including graphics, logos, style guides, posters, presentation templates, flyers, communications, and more
- Capture photography and video at events for use in recap videos, social content, and promotional materials
- Assist in the editing and production of videos for internal recognition and storytelling
- Develop creative concepts and multiple design options based on client needs
- Apply expertise in composition, layout, color theory, and typography to create visually compelling materials
- Organize and manage asset storage, cleanup, and file preparation for print and digital use
- Learn to manage projects and see them through from concept to completion
- Partner with internal teams to secure approvals and official image assets
- Maintain Disney’s high standards of quality, creativity, and brand consistency across all materials
Please Apply If You Are/Have:
- Proficiency in software for graphic design, desktop publishing, and presentations, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint)
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in logo design, social media design assets, layout, presentation design, color, illustration, and typography
- The ability to adapt easily in a fast-paced team environment and balance multiple projects and deadlines as well as Cast-facing events and experiences.
- Strong project management, organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills
- Knowledge of both PC and Mac environments
- Knowledge of file formats and specifications in preparation for printing versus web
- Confidence in presenting ideas and interacting with partners of various backgrounds and levels
- Strong partnering skills and ability to influence
- Proactive listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful questions for clarity and discovery
- The ability to take direction/constructive feedback
- High self-initiative with the ability to work independently and with a team
It Would Also Be Great If You Have/Are Familiar With
- Illustration skills or the ability to revise existing illustrations while maintaining character integrity
- Apple Keynote
- Video editing using Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere
- Photography
- Videography
- Creating executive-level presentation decks.
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a closely related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time Zone, with possible weekends or shifts that are outside of these hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.50 per hour.
