As a Marketing Strategy Associate (PH/IA) with the DCP Marketing Team (focus on global campaigns, and regional partners), you will help develop the go-to-market strategies and execution of marketing plans for the Disney and Pixar brands. You'll partner with internal Cast Members and external agencies across marketing strategy, creative advertising, PR and communications, customer engagement, and franchise/commercial teams. You will be responsible for providing input and shaping integrated communication plans and monitoring and analyzing campaign performance as part of a dynamic marketing team.
The role reports to the Sr Manager, Marketing Strategy and is based in Glendale, CA.
This role is a 24-month project hire (PH) or Internal Assignment (IA) position with no guarantee of permanent employment (length of role may change based on business needs).
You Will / Responsibilities:
Achieve annual results by working with management to develop and support marketing programs that incorporate strategy, critical thinking, analytics, and innovation
Support brand growth through communication planning, channel strategies, and brand management
Help develop integrated marketing and sales communication by working with cross-functional teams
Analyze data to identify marketing strategies, conclusions and business opportunities
Maintain a high-level understanding of marketing trends in the consumer products space
Use consumer insights and research to provide relevant input to partners across the entire marketing organization
Support marketing activities, in partnership with sales, category teams, in-house creative agency, public relations, promotions, broadcast, media, and digital teams, to achieve seamless execution of marketing communication plans
Provide overall creative feedback on marketing tactics and programs
Develop and deliver presentations for partners and senior management
Share updates with leadership to ensure all programs and plans have buy-offs by leaders and partners
Other tasks as needed
You Will Have / Required Qualifications:
2+ years of consumer marketing experience in branding, category licensing, franchise, or other related field (including professional internships)
Media planning, digital and social media skills
Experience framing up a verbal or written POV to influence leaders, partners, and peers
Experience managing a portfolio of tactical programs, marketing and sales strategies, details, and budgets
Experience developing positive relationships in and out of marketing and working with diverse teams in an inclusive environment.
Demonstrated analytical skills to analyze the performance of marketing tactics and business results
Goal orientation with the ability to react quickly to changing business needs, remaining forward-thinking and flexible
Experience using Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint. This includes deck creation and some work with Photoshop as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Marketing Strategy, Consumer Package Goods, Brand Management, Advertising Account Management, Business/Program Management
Cross-functional knowledge both internally and externally working across departments such as marketing, creative agencies, brand, legal, data/consumer insights, and more.
Experience working with consumer products (softlines and hardlines) and interacting with licensees or brand/IP partners
Ability to interact with a variety of levels of decision makers and staff.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $95,500.00 to $128,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
