We thrive on creativity, collaboration, and storytelling — and we’re looking for leaders who can push boundaries, embrace curiosity, and shape the future of brand-building.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Reporting to the SVP, DCP Global Marketing, we are seeking a visionary Director, DCP Marketing Operations. This role will serve as the architect of how we plan, prioritize, and deliver brand-defining campaigns across Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. This leader will design and implement a new process flow that elevates our long-term planning initiatives, enabling us to create powerful brand concepts that resonate deeply with fans across multiple seasons.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in project management or operations, with 10+ years of experience orchestrating complex, cross-functional programs at scale. They excel at building structure without stifling creativity and are known for working with “sugar, not salt,” bringing clarity, diplomacy, and positivity to every collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
• Process Design & Optimization: Architect a best-in-class marketing operations framework that levels up long-term planning and campaign development across franchises.
• Cross-Functional Program Management: Build and manage large-scale, integrated program plans spanning Marketing, Creative, Franchise, and Product teams.
• Strategic Alignment: Sequence campaigns and brand moments to deliver cultural impact across multiple seasons, ensuring teams are working toward shared milestones.
• Global & Regional Engagement: Design processes that bring everyone on the journey — engaging and aligning regional marketing leaders early to ensure global ideas translate into powerful, locally relevant activations.
• Operational Excellence: Introduce tools, workflows, and dashboards that create visibility into workstreams and empower data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration & Culture: Foster a culture of positivity and trust, enabling teams to do their best work together.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify, and optimize processes while fueling creativity and innovation.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As Director, you’ll be a key leader within Disney Consumer Products, partnering closely with Marketing, Creative, Franchise, and Product teams. You’ll work side by side with senior stakeholders to align priorities, resources, and timelines — empowering teams to deliver world-class brand experiences for Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar fans everywhere. You’ll also partner with regional leaders to ensure planning processes are inclusive, collaborative, and enable markets to bring global strategies to life in authentic ways.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 10+ years of professional experience in project management, operations, or marketing program management.
• Expertise in building and managing large, cross-functional program plans.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and impact.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and foster trust across functions.
• Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization, balancing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with program management tools, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
• Strategic thinker who can connect big-picture brand goals with operational execution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
This role is more than operations — it’s about shaping the way we work, think, and create. By building inclusive systems that bring every team and region along for the journey, you’ll help Disney Consumer Products deliver meaningful, multi-season brand experiences that bring Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar to life for millions of fans around the globe.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $168,400 to $225,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
