As a Sr Analyst, Business Transformation – Planning & Integration, you will assist with the integration of transformation activities across Walt Disney Imagineering, with a focus on promoting strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and organizational change. In this role, you will work with business leaders and cross-functional teams to help implement transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will report to the Manager – Business Transformation.
What You Will Do
- Support the development, integration, and execution of business transformation initiatives, aligning people, processes, and systems to achieve objectives
- Work closely with Business Transformation leadership team to understand organizational needs and translate them into actionable strategies
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of transformation roadmaps, identify areas of risk or delays, and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Manage content for cross-functional initiatives (e.g., catalogs, tracking tools, compendiums) helping ensure clear communication and efficient collaboration across departments
- Support transformation engagement strategy, craft effective communication tactics, and ideate new ways of reaching and inspiring change within the organization
- Provide administrative (e.g., coordinating meetings and logistics) and documentation support to team leadership for brainstorming, planning, and feedback sessions
- Analyze business processes, research best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to the development of transformation documentation, job aids, lessons learned, and best practices
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to distill complex concepts into simple outputs, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- Ability to take a proactive and results-oriented mindset with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Project management knowledge/experience, including familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet and Airtable
- Ability to work both independently and as a team, in-person and asynchronously
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on creative solutions and process improvement
- Ability to travel occasionally for project work
- Ability to hold diverse responsibilities with the ability to shift priorities in a rapidly changing environment, in a role with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to influence with and without authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in business transformation, strategy, or consulting
- Familiarity with change management and Lean, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working with cross-functional, collaborative teams in a global environment
- Awareness of global business environments and cross-cultural communication
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field
- Master of Business Administration preferred
This position is located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
