Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Global Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences (DX). CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
Job Description:
As a member of the Marketing Analytics and Insights team, you will serve an integral role in informing the strategic decision making of the marketing organization. You will facilitate media experimentation design and measurement, providing insights to marketing analytics, customer engagement, and marketing strategy partners. You will work closely with our internal marketing analytics and advanced analytics partners to learn our unique approach to testing measurement and to incorporate it into your daily work. A day in the life of this cast member will include measuring a variety of media tests (A/B/n, Multivariate, Holdout/Incrementality, Matched Market Geo-Testing, etc.), joining partners to consult on test design, partnering with analysts in delivering insights to stakeholders, and collaborating with their leader and peers on process and product improvements to enable efficient experimentation across channels and the business.
You will report to the Senior Manager-Digital Media Analytics & Optimization.
Responsibilities:
This role involves consulting on test design, running advanced analytics to measure tests, and determining their impact on the business. The ideal candidate will measure several tests per week after fully onboarded and assist partner analysts during test results delivery. They will work with stakeholders across the organization to design tests effectively. They will deliver insights across a variety of marketing channels and destinations within the Disney Experiences portfolio. They will also support on enhancing and innovating our testing process and methods and collaborate on tools to expand our testing measurement coverage and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult on test design to ensure robust and reliable measurement.
Run advanced analytics required to measure tests and determine their impact on the business.
Increase test measurement frequency by several tests per week after full onboarding.
Assist marketing analysts during test results delivery to provide technical insights and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test results into broader marketing strategies.
Develop and maintain tools to track test performance and business impact.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in marketing analytics and experimentation.
Inspire the organization to conduct tests when necessary to drive insights.
Work with team to innovate on testing process and methods for continuous improvement.
Support on other analytics projects as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience
Familiarity with experimental design.
Expertise in the application of parametric and non-parametric measurement methods.
Proficiency in SQL and either R or Python to implement and automate test measurement.
Passionate about experimentation and influencing data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work effectively across functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong data literacy, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with a variety of digital marketing tools and platforms.
Excellent storytelling and communication to convey complex analytical insights and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience in a similar role within a marketing or media analytics team.
Experience in running and/or measuring tests within various media platforms, website testing, and/or on 1st/3rd party experimentation platforms.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of both Frequentist and Bayesian experimentation frameworks (Hypothesis Testing, Sequential Analysis, Bayes Factors, ROPE, Probability of Superiority, Thompson Sampling, etc.).
Knowledge of advanced marketing measurement approaches like Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, etc.
Experience collaborating with, and integrating, AI tools and platforms to enhance work product.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or other related quantitative field
Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or other related quantitative field
