Within Disney Signature Experiences, the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) team delivers end-to-end digital and physical experiences for both Guests and Cast Members. This includes leading technology initiatives across the fleet, supporting core platforms, the Disney Cruise Line website, and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app, while serving multiple lines of business both shoreside and onboard.
Disney Cruise Line is entering a period of unprecedented growth, with multiple new ships joining the fleet over the coming years. Every digital guest experience depends on accurate, timely, and personalized content delivered consistently across web, mobile, onboard, and guest communication channels. The Manager, Product Management owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Disney Cruise Line's enterprise content platform. The role leads a multi-year Content Modernization program that standardizes how content is authored, governed, localized, and delivered to support fleet growth and improve operational efficiency.
As the content product leader within the Commercial Data organization, the Manager defines the standards for content and content-adjacent data assets, including content schemas, behavioral analytics, guest survey data, and contact center signals. These standards ensure content decisions are informed by guest behavior, measurable business outcomes, and consistent governance across digital channels.
Success in this role is measured by the ability to:
- Replace legacy authoring and configuration platforms with a scalable enterprise content platform that supports the full guest journey
- Reduce publishing effort while improving content quality, reuse, localization speed, and governance.
- Use behavioral analytics, Guest feedback, surveys, and contact center signals to continuously improve digital content.
- Build a high-performing product organization with disciplined product discovery, prioritization, execution, and outcome measurement.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for DCL's enterprise content platform.
- Lead the Content Modernization program by consolidating legacy tools into a unified authoring and configuration management platform, defining the future-state architecture, and enabling delivery aligned to support the full guest journey
- Own DCL's content data schema governance by defining the canonical structure of content objects, including content types, field definitions, metadata requirements, taxonomy standards, and folder conventions.
- Own the rules, process, and usage standards for content-adjacent data assets that drive content decisions such as behavioral analytics and contact center logs and surveys.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers and content specialists, building product management maturity through clear priorities and mentoring.
- Make investment decisions across the portfolio, balancing Content Modernization, technical debt, compliance, localization, and Guest experience priorities.
- Run product discovery, roadmap planning, Agile execution, and Program Increment (PI) planning using Guest feedback, content analytics, publishing metrics, and behavioral data.
- Establish content governance that improves quality, reuse, metadata, and platform performance through measurable outcomes, including AI content governance standards.
- Advance AI-enabled authoring, machine translation, taxonomy automation, and validation tooling to accelerate publishing, support localization at scale, and maintain content accuracy across the growing fleet.
- Manage the product portfolio, including budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and vendor partnerships, against strategic objectives.
- Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership, connecting platform decisions to Guest experience and fleet growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Product Management, Digital Experience, or related disciplines.
- Must have 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years delivering enterprise content platforms, digital experience products, CMS solutions, or content governance capabilities in partnership with engineering and business teams.
- Must have 3+ years of people leadership experience managing Product Managers or equivalent experience leading large cross-functional product initiatives within a matrixed organization.
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities from concept through adoption.
- Must have working knowledge of modern content management architectures, including content schema governance in API-first or headless CMS environments.
- Must have experience using behavioral analytics, publishing metrics, and customer feedback to prioritize work and measure outcomes.
- Must have experience with enterprise content governance and global localization, including translation workflows and machine translation.
- Must have strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills across technology and business organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in related discipline.
- Experience leading enterprise CMS modernization programs with fixed delivery milestones.
- Experience consolidating legacy content schemas and configuration platforms.
- Experience applying AI and machine learning to content authoring, metadata generation, tagging, translation, or recommendations.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO, and consumer digital experiences across web, mobile, and onboard channels.
- Experience with Disney publishing technologies, including RWS Tridion, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, or RWS WorldServer.
- Experience using contact center interactions, chat transcripts, and Guest surveys to identify and prioritize content improvements.
- Experience governing content schemas as reusable data products for editorial, API, and analytics consumers.
