The Disney Multiplatform Partnerships team is looking for an enthusiastic, strategic and efficient Multiplatform Partnerships Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, this person will support the development and implementation of 360 degree brand strategies and partnership campaigns that drive growth and reinforce the value of Disney’s television networks: ABC, Disney, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic Channels and studio properties including Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Pictures, and Searchlight Pictures.
Job Summary
The Multiplatform Partnerships team is responsible for initiating, developing, and executing strategic partnerships that drive acquisition, retention/anti-churn and viewership growth value, for the Disney Entertainment portfolio (ABC, Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild) and ESPN Networks (ACC Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, SEC Network). Identify strategies and creative assets to support distribution and promotion of these properties to ensure they are on brand and effectively support our organizational goals. Provide ongoing partnership guidance and support the development of campaigns that meet both the brand and partner’s objectives and support associated Disney Entertainment goals.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Multiplatform Partnerships Entertainment Brand Team’s distribution brand representative; proactively develop content marketing materials and strategically identify promotional opportunities for distribution partners; manage on-going distribution partner requests for assets; communicate usage and subsequent promotional value to the respective network/internal partners
Work cross functionally across Account teams, Network Brand and Strategy, Creative Services, Legal, Ad Sales, Research, Marketing and PR to ensure brand and partner initiatives are executed to the highest standards of The Walt Disney Company; build relationships with key stakeholders and communicate relevant programming and promotional information across the team
Ensure creative assets are delivered in a timely manner so that projects are completed on time; partner with the internal teams to develop network assets for distribution partner use across linear, digital, social, CRM, in-app, set-top box/UI; manage deliverables from briefing through execution
Maintain team budgets including processing of all invoices/POs/payments to vendors
Assist in creation, sharing, and presenting of brand plans for client/internal presentations
Provide support for the team including scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, merchandise/premium ordering and inventory maintenance, compiling campaign overviews, weekly programming recaps and executive bullets
Proactively seek out information to gain a comprehensive understanding of our industry including our content offerings, emerging technologies, distribution platforms, industry trends, competitive landscape to influence our marketing strategies and initiatives
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, mornings, and/or occasional travel
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of related marketing or business experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative evaluation, and budget management
Ability to prioritize and multi-task on a high profile, high volume portfolio
Detail oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail requires
Creative thinker with outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of and interest in the evolving media landscape and media consumption habits
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously
A self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates next steps to keep projects moving forward
Must be able to travel as needed
A television and pop culture enthusiast with a sincere love for the media and entertainment industry
A desire to grow the business with respect to our goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other office tools: Airtable, SharePoint, Teams, Google Docs/Forms
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience executing paid media campaigns
Project Management
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
Marketing or Communications degree preferred
*Please note, this role sits in our Burbank office Monday – Thursday, working from home on Friday.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300.00 to $86,200.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
