The Enterprise Agile Coach is a Senior Coaching role with Agile Practice in the Technology Process and Portfolio (TPP) team responsible enabling agile transformation and adoption across the enterprise. They will be responsible to the Agile Practice to define and deliver scalable and efficient enterprise agile coaching frameworks, processes, and standards and to ensure proficiency and adherence of these processes and standards through Governance, Training, and Facilitation Programs to drive high-quality consistent delivery, driving sustained business outcomes.
The Enterprise Agile Coach will be responsible for developing, maturing, supporting, and maintaining scalable and efficient coaching frameworks, processes, methodologies, tools, and templates at the Enterprise Level to drive consistent and efficient delivery practices. The Enterprise Agile Coach will also be responsible for defining and establishing Agile Coaching Governance, Training, and Facilitation programs to drive process proficiency, ensuring adherence and adoption to the defined frameworks and standards. The Enterprise Agile Coach will be the catalyst to define and drive efficient and consistent agile patterns across Enterprise Technology.
Primary responsibilities include establishing and managing Agile Transformation, Adoption and Agile Change Management Programs, which includes Coaching Processes, Frameworks, and Standards, Coaching Process Governance, Training, and expert agile coaching and mentoring programs. These programs will drive consistent, high-quality agile delivery practices to achieve sustained expected business outcomes. The Enterprise Coach will partner across the organization to define scalable and streamlined Agile Coaching Frameworks, establish consistent processes and templates, and ensure each technology domain is equipped with training, coaching, and documentation to enable delivery success across the Enterprise Tech business organizations responsible for delivery that aligns to agile patterns. The Enterprise Agile Coach will partner with the PMO Process & Tools team to develop the integration of capabilities between Agile frameworks and PMO frameworks for successful hybrid and interdependent delivery patterns that ensure quality business outcomes. This requires a highly proficient technical Agile Coach with experience communicating across audiences, effectively defining and utilizing escalation paths, and updating executive stakeholders.
The Enterprise Agile Coach works in a dynamic, collaborative environment and reports to Enterprise Technology, Senior Manager, Agile Practice and will work with leaders supporting technology programs and projects across Enterprise Technology. This role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your thorough understanding and experience establishing and maturing streamlined and scalable Agile Frameworks and processes across various technology disciplines within a large technology organization and taking ownership to drive the proficiency, adoption, and usability of those processes.
This leader will build and manage a consolidated view of the Enterprise Coaching roadmap and deliverables including calendars, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination, and regular communication of status
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Agile Transformation & Coaching:
- Lead the enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.), focusing on the implementation of agile capabilities to Enterprise Technology and product strategies.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to product managers, product owners, teams, and leadership on Agile best practices, agile product management principles, and Agile frameworks.
- Facilitate the development of Agile practices within product teams, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-value, customer-centric products.
- Foster a culture of Agile mindset and principles across the organization, helping to drive agile maturity objectives and integration to hybrid and waterfall delivery methodologies.
Support Leadership Strategy & Guidance:
- Work with senior leadership to achieve the Agile Scaling opportunities across the organization, ensuring alignment between product, technology, and business objectives.
- Mentor leadership teams on how to support Agile teams and sustain the ongoing Agile strategic objectives and benefits.
Enable Stakeholder Alignment & Product Strategy:
- Enable Executive Product Leadership business objectives and customer needs through product coaching and training programs to ensure that product strategy, vision and priorities are clearly defined and understood.
- Assist in the adoption of Architecture, Research & Development (ARD) Roadmap standards for the creation and refinement of product roadmaps and backlogs to ensure teams are focused on delivering the highest value.
Agile Change Management & Organizational Support:
- Assist in managing change impact of the Agile transformation within the organization, especially as it relates role alignment to process optimization, team structure alignment to agile performance and agile scaling.
- Help navigate resistance to Agile practices and foster a culture that embraces change, collaboration, and innovation.
Training & Development:
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and coaching circles to enhance the capabilities of delivery teams and individuals in Agile methodologies and product management.
- Provide ongoing development and feedback to teams and leaders to help them continuously improve in their Agile practices.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
- Help teams and organizations define and track meaningful Agile metrics (e.g., cycle time, lead time, velocity) that provide insights into performance and areas for improvement.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, promoting experimentation and learning within teams to enhance their delivery capabilities.
Secondary Responsibilities
Facilitating Agile Ceremonies:
- Work with other coaches and agile specialists to ensure a consistent approach in the facilitation of key Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement) to ensure effective collaboration, transparency, and alignment.
- Work with other coaches and agile specialists to ensure a consistent approach in to help teams remove obstacles and ensure smooth flow of work by promoting self-organization and autonomy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between Agile teams and other organizational functions such as Product, PMO, Demand, ARD to ensure effective collaboration in the end to end delivery processes.
- Facilitate communication and remove silos, ensuring that the right people are involved at the right time in the product lifecycle.
Work Experience
- Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience in Agile coaching, product management, and leading Agile transformations in complex organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scaling Agility) and the ability to adapt practices to fit the unique needs of the organization.
- Proven ability to influence and coach senior leadership, aligning Agile practices with organizational goals and driving cultural change.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, departments, and leadership levels.
- Strong ability to define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous learning and optimization.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the technology field and technology project delivery
- Proven experience as a leader and decision-maker with at least 5 years of experience in leading large technology, multidisciplinary efforts across a large-scale matrix organization
Skills / Specialized Knowledge/ Competencies
- Proven experience in Agile coaching, Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile methodologies.
- Strong background in product management, product lifecycle management, and Lean principles.
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Scaling Agility, and Lean.
- Experience working with leadership and teams to drive Agile transformation at an enterprise level.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and build strong relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment
- Certification in Agile frameworks (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Scaling Agility Program Consultant (SPC), etc.) is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro, etc.).
- Deep Knowledge and understanding of project and program governance frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills
- Demonstrated experience with software development lifecycle methodologies (focused on Agile, Lean)
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve business results

- Understanding of modern software development and infrastructure tools, processes and practices, including Jira/Confluence, Agile Development, Cloud, DevOps, Data Management, and SaaS/PaaS.
- End-user experience and high level of competency in use of modern program and project management tools, such ServiceNow, PPM, Clarity, Smartsheet, MS Project Online, Airtable, etc.
- Experience integrating waterfall or hybrid programs with agile delivery that leverages Agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Proficiency with a wide range of productivity tools, including collaboration software (e.g., MS Teams, MIRO), standard MS Office tools (e.g., Outlook Online, OneDrive).
Required Education
BA/BS in business, computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience
Licenses / Training (e.g. professional certifications)
PMI or Scrum Alliance (or similar) certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Disney experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools
- Proficiency with establishing project frameworks, standards, and governance and driving adoption
- Experience implementing broader Agile Development techniques as part of User Stories, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, etc.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank California is $155,000-$175,000.00 per year. and for Seattle, WA $160,000-$185,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
