General Role Description:
  • Disney’s Corporate Alliances develops an­d holistically manages complex, long-term, multi-dimensional relationships with select brands and companies.
  • The Corporate Alliances team is dedicated to creating incremental value to The Walt Disney Company and its partners through creative development of marketing and sponsorship programs, management of partner and business unit relationships and creation of new partnerships aligned with The Walt Disney Company’s businesses and strategic goals.
  • With Parks & Resorts as a critical value driver of corporate alliance relationships, the Alliances Promotions team will manage the development and execution of high-quality co-branded promotional campaigns across multiple channels of distribution across a large portfolio of corporate alliance partners.
  • This team will partner closely with the Alliance Development and Management teams, Partner brand and agency teams, WDPR Marketing Strategy, and WDPR creative teams to deliver differentiated and nimble promotional campaigns that deliver on the partnership objectives for both companies in the short and long-term.
  • This position has the opportunity to work on top tier brands as they lead the creative team for Alliance partner promotions. The Director of Corporate Alliance promotions will be responsible for defining and driving the overall creative vision while maximizing the company’s brand integrity & creating cohesion and synergy across promotions.
  • This position will establish Corporate Alliance’s creative philosophy through strong creative direction and organizational leadership.

  • Vice President, Marketing Partnerships & Promotions (Corporate Alliances)

Responsabilités:

  • Establish and build the strategic direction and vision for Alliance promotions creative
  • Recruit, select, train, develop and lead the Alliance Promotions creative team talent to develop and design exceptional best-in-class campaigns and executions for a range of brands and projects
  • Identify and build agency resources including scope, budget, and contract management
  • Lead the development of creative (inception to implementation); determine innovative and effective strategies that meet business and partner needs
  • Manage development of customized and evergreen style guides for creative and process excellence
  • Partner with marketing strategy and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts creative to produce high quality photographs and assets for client promotions and toolkit
  • Partner with account management and business development to understand and deliver against client strategic priorities, goals, and objectives
  • Determine most effective tactics and executions based on channel, consumer segment, to deliver optimal campaign results
  • Engage with clients as a senior member of account team and establish credibility and confidence
  • Lead brainstorms with internal and external partners; determine objectives, design, strategy, concept, delivery, messaging, and overall execution
  • Develop strong partnerships internally and externally to exceed client expectations
  • Ensure all projects stay on track – manage scope, budget, timeline, and quality
  • Identify best programs to deliver on short / long term goals
  • Present creative to partners in an inspiring manner to set direction and buy-in
  • Manage creative groups from ideation, design and implementation
  • Provide feedback and input to business and creative for quality results

Qualifications Nécessaires:

  • 8-10 years industry experience with at least 5 years of demonstrated ability to effectively develop and lead creative teams.
  • Strong understanding of effective creative design practices, trends, techniques, and processes across various touchpoints or mediums (e.g. retail, consumer and B2B)
  • Ability to conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to execution
  • Ability to lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to manage internal and external resources and work collaboratively with cross-functional and diverse teams
  • Ability to quickly adapt and translate partner’s products and services and the company’s business strategy into creative outputs
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, delegate and meet rigorous deadlines
  • Knowledge of product design and development, as well as, production and manufacturing processes for a wide variety of product categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop others to use talents effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize work appropriately, and meet assigned deadlines; excellent organizational and analytical skills (including attention to detail)
  • Strong critical thinking, presentation and communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Proficiency with design software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing design process
  • Affinity for and knowledge of The Walt Disney Company with emphasis on Parks & Resorts

Compétences Souhaitées:

  • Creative Director / Creative Agency background a plus

Preferred Education

  • BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred
