How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Analyst, Content Decision Science connects data, analytics and advanced modeling with the teams shaping the Disney+ content catalog. The team informs content decisions by combining rigorous quantitative analysis with an understanding of entertainment consumers, the stories they connect with and the evolving streaming business.

The Analyst, Content Decision Science will support the development of analytical frameworks, models and tools to understand content performance, audience preferences and viewing habits, uncovering what drives consumers to discover, choose and engage with content.

This role requires a strong quantitative foundation, knowledge about entertainment and consumer behavior, and an AI mindset: a willingness to experiment with new tools, learn continuously and critically evaluate results. The ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

The Analyst, Content Decision Science will be responsible for:

  • Apply statistical, analytical and machine learning techniques to evaluate content, audience behavior and business questions, helping identify patterns and factors that may influence content performance.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Python and other analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
  • Support the development of new analytical methodologies, models and tools to improve content decision-making.
  • Leverage AI and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis, build models, test hypotheses and explore new approaches to solving business problems.
  • Explore and adapt methodologies from disciplines such as economics, social sciences, finance and other quantitative fields when they provide useful perspectives for addressing business questions.
  • Apply strong analytical rigor, clearly articulating assumptions, methodology, uncertainty and the limitations of analytical conclusions.
  • Translate complex quantitative findings into simple, compelling narratives that can be understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Develop presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders, combining analytical evidence with clear business implications.
  • Stay closely connected to the content and streaming landscape, including audience behavior, competitive dynamics, industry trends and evolving consumption patterns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, frame analytical questions and translate them into data-driven approaches.
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance existing analyses, methodologies and decision-support tools.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, decision science, business analytics or a similar quantitative role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Social Sciences or another quantitative discipline.
  • Advanced level in English.
  • Hands-on experience using AI and/or AI-assisted development tools for analytical solutions, with curiosity to learn new tools and methodologies, experiment and critically assess results.
  • Strong interest in television, film and entertainment, with an understanding of the streaming landscape and how audiences discover, choose and engage with content, ideally including consumer habits and cultural trends in Latin America.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and quantitative analysis, with experience developing analytical models and translating results into business insights.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Python, including working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical rigor and critical thinking, including assessing data quality, validating assumptions, communicating uncertainty and limitations, and forming evidence-based viewpoints while remaining open to alternative interpretations.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical work clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
