As a Technical Project Specialist within the Worldwide Safety Assurance team, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of technology-driven safety initiatives across domestic and international operational environments. This role will partner closely with the Technical Project Manager and cross-functional teams to support deployment activities, video analytics initiatives, project coordination, reporting, stakeholder communication, and operational readiness efforts.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, collaborative, and comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments that require flexibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
This role reports to the Manager - Technical Program Management.
This is an estimated 15-month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.
Responsibilities/You Will:
Project Planning & Coordination -
Support the coordination and execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on schedule
Assist with project planning activities, task tracking, documentation management, and meeting coordination
Monitor project progress and escalate potential risks, blockers, or scheduling concerns to project leadership
Facilitate recurring project status meetings and capture action items, updates, and follow-up activities
Support onsite project walks, infrastructure reviews, and deployment readiness assessments with internal partners and site leadership
Assist with maintaining deployment dashboards, project schedules, and status reporting tools
Technology Deployment Support -
Assist with the implementation and coordination of integrated technology systems, including hardware and software deployments
Partner with technical teams during installation, configuration, testing, and operational turnover activities
Support system validation, troubleshooting, and issue tracking during deployment and testing phases
Coordinate with engineering, operations, audiovisual, networking, and maintenance teams to support seamless integration efforts
Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and operational readiness validation
Video Analytics & Data Support -
Support analytics initiatives through data gathering, system monitoring, testing coordination, and reporting activities
Assist with analyzing operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements
Generate reports, dashboards, presentations, and visual summaries to communicate findings and project updates
Support technical documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts for deployed systems and operational processes
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering services, audiovisual teams, operations, security, maintenance, and external vendors
Communicate project updates, requirements, schedules, and technical information clearly and professionally
Support vendor coordination activities, including scheduling, logistics, and installation support
Maintain strong working relationships with internal partners while supporting operational continuity during deployments
Basic Qualifications/You Have:
2+ years of experience supporting projects, operations, technology deployments, or technical coordination activities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to track tasks, timelines, and project deliverables effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, as well as Smartsheet, AirTable, and Jira
Experience supporting meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications
Ability to work flexible schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shift support and occasional overnight activities as needed
Comfortable working in operational environments and participating in onsite field activities and walkthroughs
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Proven ability to create clear, visually compelling presentations and tailor messaging for global audiences, including navigating language barriers and working with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders
Experience presenting complex findings to a range of audiences, including technical teams, operations leaders, and internal and external executives—effectively simplifying content for non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting technology deployment or infrastructure-related projects
Familiarity with analytics, CCTV, audiovisual, networking, or integrated technology systems environments
Familiarity with Monday.com is a plus
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, APIs, IoT-connected systems, or AI-driven technologies
Experience creating dashboards, reports, and executive presentations
PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification preferred
Experience working in themed entertainment, hospitality, operations, or large-scale guest-facing environments
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $72,000 to $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
